words are too clumsy to describe how deeply moved i am by "just visiting planet earth". this extraordinary work refreshingly embraces perhaps the most significant capability of music - not just to entertain, but to create a divine conduit to lead us to the most important questions in our lives - who am i? what exactly am i doing here? how did this universe come to be? lloyd's masterful and energetic vocal and instrumental performances create a powerful and fun atmosphere which bring the incredible lyrics into focus. the result is a rich textural landscape which evokes deep reflection and feelings about life and the universe without any hint of pretension or preachiness. i've had this cd for a while but never got around to listening to it - somehow it ended up in a random stack of cd's. i finally came across it when i was feeling somewhat out of spirits and deflated. after only a few minutes, i felt so inspired and refreshed, i couldn't believe it! it is so gratifying to enjoy in every note of this cd the exqusite care and love with which lloyd has brought this gift to the world. what a ride! thank you thank you thank you!
